This week we made our annual trip to Lagoon, an amusement park north of Salt Lake City. Like last year, we spent a full day there and then spent the night at a hotel downtown and enjoyed a delicious meal from Whole Foods consisting of gourmet breads (French Boule, Sourdough, Baguettes), cheeses (Parrano, Brie, Fontina, Muenster, Goat) and grapes. The next morning we ate at Les Madeleines Cafe and had their amazing Kouing Aman pastries (more to come on that later) and then headed back to the park for another fun day. That evening we went to see the Hale Theater production of "Wedding Singer." It was a very full two days and thankfully Jeni, with quite a bit of rest, was able to join us for everything. Below are pictures of the trip. I think now that we've done this two years in a row, we've got the makings of an annual tradition going.
